Silicone Render. Chart Sutton, Kent

We began this project by applying a Johnstone’s high-performance base coat, reinforced with fibreglass mesh to provide additional strength and flexibility to the system. This combination enhances adhesion, prevents cracking, and creates a durable foundation that ensures long-term stability for the render finish.

To complete the system, we applied a 1.5mm enhanced silicone render, chosen for its exceptional durability, weather resistance, and breathability. The result is a smooth, contemporary façade that not only protects the property but also offers a low-maintenance, long-lasting, and cohesive appearance across all elevations.

For this home, we combined the modern render finish with the original brickwork to achieve a perfect balance between contemporary design and traditional character. The addition of a handcrafted oak porch further complemented the look, adding warmth and natural charm to the exterior.

The finished result is a beautifully unified façade — a modern yet sympathetic design that enhances the property’s original features while giving it a fresh, refined appearance.
