This project involved a semi-detached home with a newly built side extension that we completely transformed using a high-performance rendering system.

We began with Johnstone’s High Performance Base Coat, a cement-based, polymer-modified, and water-repellent render that provides a strong and dependable foundation. To further enhance durability and minimise the risk of cracking, the surface was reinforced with Johnstone’s Stormshield Mesh. This system delivers a robust yet flexible finish, improving impact resistance and ensuring long-lasting results.

To complete the system, we applied a 1.5mm Enhance Silicone Topcoat - a premium finishing layer that offers a sleek, uniform appearance while delivering excellent weather protection.

As part of the project, we also insulated the bay and added slate tiles to the porch, enhancing both the energy efficiency and aesthetic appeal of the entrance. The result is a modern, stylish finish that complements the character of the home and provides lasting performance.
